ED3600

An EIP (Ethernet/IP) gateway that allows fast and easy communication from an Allen Bradley PLC to our EDV111 line of industrial message marquees. RS422 serial output to the message marquees. Up to 480 bytes of data can be mapped to and from an EtherNet/IP PLC. The data segments from EtherNet/IP can be converted to ASCII and concatenated into a string delivered to your ASCII device or logger. If you need to command the EtherNet/IP device, an incoming ASCII string can be parsed. Each segment gets a defined data type and can be directed to a user defined IO data location. Need to scale your data or manipulate it with other math functions? The ED3600 allows you to add scaling to any data, apply simple math operations, add alarming and control the request speeds of your Scanner device.

ASCII to and from an EtherNet/IP PLC

The ED3600 moves data between an EtherNet/IP PLC and Serial ASCII. It’s a perfect tool to connect ASCII devices like barcode scanners, weigh scales, LED displays, laser markers and printers.
